#BLACKBERRY VANILLA PERFUME FULL#
So because I’m obsessed with perfumes, I did the very hard work of going through all of my fragrances (all 89 of them-for real) to compile a full list of the absolute best vanilla perfumes I’ve ever tested. But personally, I like my perfume to have a hint of vanilla to balance them out, even if it’s primarily a rose, sandalwood, floral, or patchouli perfume. And don’t get me wrong, some of the best perfumes are fruity and citrus and fresh. Gone are the days of pretending we don’t want to smell like we just doused ourselves in cake batter.
#BLACKBERRY VANILLA PERFUME FREE#
It has a plastic odor about it and doesn't quite make the grade. As someone who spends both her workday and free time pursuing #PerfumeTok, there’s one thing I know for sure: Vanilla perfumes are back (with our long denim skirts and lip gloss, ofc). I do not like the lotion that is made to go with this fragrance either. For a fragrance freak that doesn't really present a problem. So I have to alternate using it with others. But when I want to be transported back to the lost summer days of my youth spent with my best friend, I choose #9.The only thing I don't like about #9 is that after wearing it for several days I can't smell it anymore. Philosophy's version is nice too and if I hadn't found the McEvoy first I'd probably own a bottle. It lacks the top green notes and doesn't last nearly as long. This is one of those fragrances I forget I'm wearing until a slight breeze wafts over my arm and I smell the sweet berries and wonder where it's coming from until I realize, hey! it's me! If I could only wear one fragrance for the rest of my life this is the one I'd choose.#9 has been compared to Philosophy's Falling In Love but IMHO Falling in Love is the lesser of the two. Then I begin to notice a warm vanilla that lasts all day. I wish the top notes would linger longer, but it soon develops into warmed by the sun, ripe, delicious, juicy blackberries.

The only thing missing is the scratchy thorns and the bees! The first spritz opens with the sharp green scent of crushed blackberry leaves. We had a habitrail of tunnels worked through the brambles behind my best friend's house. This fragrance is a wormhole to my childhood hideout in the blackberry brambles. Others have said that it doesn't last that long, but I get a decent 10 hours out of it and then some, so I'm more than satisfied with the lasting power of this scent. Projection is good, silage is good (as far as I can tell) but neither is likely to choke out a room (I wear four sprays). This is a delicate scent, but NOT weak by any means. It starts out with a very fresh and clean (not sickly sweet at all) blackberry note- very much reminiscent of fresh blackberries straight off the vine! On drydown the musk and vanilla become more prominent, with the blackberries moving to the background (but still present all the same). Trish, if you're reading this, please don't change a thing! This scent is perfect! I bought this perfume having only sprayed on my wrist, and having tested other perfumes that day, I could tell that I liked it but it was a bit of a risk.and I'm so glad I did! I love this scent more every time I wear it! This house does not get enough love!!!! I own the full bottle of #9 and a sample of #3 and both are absolutely lovely. ! Pros: you could eat this ! it smells so freshCons: a bit on the sweet gourmand side. Its more feminine than masculine and kind of a 'younger crowd' scent if i can use that term ! but i am going to wear it an be dammed in a wonderful way ! personally i would eat a gallon of ice cream that smelled and tasted like this. Its always exciting to find something kind of distinctive to try.

I am very interested to try others in this range. This would be a must to try.it seem much more refined and delicate than the Jo Malone type of fragrances that I guess this would complete with. i think for people who like fruity and vanilla scents. Its nicely restrained but Personally I think the vanilla just a tad too sweet but then that is just me. the sweetness begins to fade and one is left with a floral musky note on which hangs a vanilla and fruit note. On the dry down the vanilla takes over for a while while with the blue fruity under-note.

The blackberry has a very pure quality and is a loud and clear top note. A really pure blackberry and vanilla ,very refined and restrainedI received a sample of this from Liberty! I am not a great fan of gourmand but this rather an unexpected delight for me.
